Accountability is brought to the surface, from space commercialization to multimodal technology solutions which bring problem sets closer to the users. The speed dating has happened across private capital, DOD innovation programs, academia, and tech domains. The next phase of the relationship involves decentralization. Congress has spoken…:) and the culture shift accelerates!!
Reduction in government programs — NGOs and non-profits
Wait, that’s my money!! The days of living off government grants and programs funding misguided problem sets are gone. The money grab ends. The largest nonprofits, universities and healthcare systems, lose key loopholes which force accountability. The leverage of NGOs to influence broken non-revenue producing results will end. Alignment between business and NGOs will surface as priority.
People Get Smarter
Social Media and Logic — (Neuro-Linguistic Programming??)
With all the hubbub about transformational AI, the dust is settling. Turns out, you need humans. Logic prevails. As much as we want to offload tasks and automate whatever, we still need direction, vision and leadership….humm. The mental pause has happened and we now have the tipping point as the social media’s platforms enter the next phase.
New Sources of Information
Traditional media sources have become reality shows. Turns out that information is only as good as the sources. Misguided opinions have been overriding the reality on the ground. The disconnect spread too far and the cord broke. Humans and organizations are now on paths of seeking new information to make informed decisions. Open sources of content creation like Substack and the enormous followings on podcasts have unleashed new thoughts and ideas. The flow of information makes us all better.
